Mohab Abdelmeguid Zakaria is the Chief Executive Officer
and co-founder of MEDAF Investments. Starting his career at
CIB Egypt, Zakaria climbed his way up the ranks to eventually
becoming one of the country’s top financial experts. He was
in charge of the government-lending program, led the IPO of
Chipsy, among the largest projects in Egypt and was one of
the key founders of the retail banking arm of CIB. In 2003, he
founded Matrex, a shareholding company which grew from a
single entity into a group of businesses, all key players in the
contracting, trade, mining, specialized engineering sectors in
Africa and the Middle East.
